TESTIMONY FROM THE AFRICAN DELEGATION ON HEROIC VIRTUES OF Venerable P. ANTONIO PAGANI.

The initial grace attributed to Ven. Fr. Antonio Pagani, OFM is the birth of our Delegation in Africa 21 April 1965 and the consequent foundation of the house of formation in 1984. Through the intercession of Fr. Founder, we have witnessed the rapid spread of our Spirituality and our Charisma, as well as the increase in vocations of young women over the years and the birth of the Father Antonio Pagani Lay Fraternity in the African Church.
Our spirituality and the growth of the missionary spirit, they are a special grace of zeal on the part of our father. Founder.

This is witnessed to us through:
1. Collaboration with different people, like the local bishops who were attracted by the profound meaning of the Pelican logo, which represents Jesus feeding his disciples with himself, they occasionally invite us to work in their dioceses, with the clergy, men and women religious and lay people, offering us the opportunity to make the Charism known.

2. The virtue of the Founder's hospitality has been so contagious among the nuns that many people feel welcomed in the houses of spirituality where we serve. The virtue of fraternal communion of life between sisters coming from different cultures is a clear indication of the virtue of unity and fraternity that flows from the spirit of the Ven. Fr. A. Pagani. This also deepened the sisters' relationship with their Groom Jesus Christ, so much so that they desire to know more and more about the life of their Divine Master through spiritual exercises.

In the year 2023, all withdrawals, the seminars and permanent training were oriented towards a greater knowledge of Pagani's virtues and writings. Consequentially, there was an increase in faith, of love, of the spirit of self-giving, of commitment and obedience at almost all levels. The virtues of the Founder are simplicity of life, modesty and sobriety. This is evidenced by the way of life of the nuns, by the simple way of dressing and the way of working that attracts people towards the knowledge of God. Another special virtue inherent in the founder is joy in service amidst the numerous challenges of today's society. The Dismissed Sisters, wherever they are found, they show an inner joy even when they are rejected or unappreciated, doing everything to please your Groom because Ven. Fr. Pagani teaches us that we must savor the joy of Christ in every circumstance of life. Trusting in the paternal intercession of P. Pagani, we invoked him when Bishop Luigi Paiaro had a heart attack without major consequences. During difficult times in the delegation, like diseases, tough and discouraging situations, we rushed to A's feet. Pagani and he always welcomed us and granted our wishes. In many ways, for his intercession, we were encouraged to carry our daily crosses with joy, touched by his words: “I leave you mortified and immolated at the altar of the Cross...”.
As a delegation, we have instilled the virtues and spirit of Ven. Fr. A. Pagans in our educational institutions named after him. Many young people have grown in virtues and Christian values ​​have taken root in their lives.
Having at heart the suffering and needs of many people, We pray intensely to the intercession of the Ven. Fr. A. Pagans for further graces and miracles.
We printed and distributed prayer cards to all the nuns and some lay faithful.
May Ven. Fr. Antonio Pagani intercede for our Religious Family and the whole Church.
